Here are two context scenarios for both a primary persona and a secondary persona for a freeware App aimed for instant communications and daily interactions between separated family members on electronic devices such as smartphones or personal computers, including both the software and its service. (For better description, the APP is temporarily named as Connect.)
Dora Wang
Our primary persona is Dora Wang, 20 years old, an overseas Chinese student who has studied abroad in Taiwan for 2 years, whose goals are to pursue excellent academic performance at school as well as participate in activities in her department which contributes to better adaptation to the new environment, and to squeeze in more quality time to contacts with her parents, keeping them informed of her hectic life at school.
Doris Wu
Our secondary persona is Doris Wu, 48 years old, a Chinese CPA (certified public accountant) executing home office now due to the pandemic, working for a small company in Southeast Asia, whose goals are to balance home life and work, ensure everything is fine with her daughter who studies overseas and have a continuously stable connection of Internet when having video calls with her.
